The Hunter ST box's various features include an industrial-grade fiberglass base, an exposed top rim, and a virtually indestructible protective cover, both made from polymer concrete. Together they create a durable enclosure with a 9,000+ kg load rating that is still easy to install at 77 kg without covers.
The exclusive 76mm thick, four-piece polymer concrete cover features a molded hole on one side in an ideal location for the STG-1600B rotary sprinkler. This design holds the rotor perfectly positioned within the hole while the housing is backfilled from the exposed opposite side. Quick couplings are a must for all artificial surfaces. The cast quick-connect port with cover on the opposite side eliminates the need for separate quick-connect housings around the pitch. A molded port with cover for automatic on-off selection of the ST valve provides additional flexibility.
Clear advantage with the Hunter ST box
Have you ever tried drilling a hole in polymer concrete? It's next to impossible. What about installing and setting up a 200 pound polymer concrete enclosure? Not that much fun.
We designed the ST box to be lightweight and made installation as easy as possible without sacrificing durability. From a functionality perspective – four-piece cover, large interior space and complete access to all components from above – the system is easier and more cost-effective to maintain.
