Plasson mechanical fittings are design to high performance pipe jointing and a long system life. These high quality fittings are very durable and easy to use. They are ideal for larger pipe sizes and on mains water systems. With proven reliability and designed specifically for use with polyethylene pipe; some Plasson fitting have been installed for over 50 years. The simple to use captive O-ring seal provides a lifetime protection against leakage which require no additional tightening to achieve a continuous seal.

Rain Bird Saddle Clamp

Rain Bird mechanical saddle clamps for metric PE and PVC pipes feature a fast, bolt-free installation feature. They a incorporate metal gripper to prevent movement along the pipe and a female ACME threaded outlet for a leak-free installation, particularly when used in irrigation applications with sprinkler swing joint installations.

Options available on request from 63 to 180mm with 1", 1¼" or 1½" ACME outlets. 

Standard Saddles

Standard mechanical pipe saddles are designed to bolt around the pipe and then have an outlet drilled. Supplied with stainless steel nuts & bolts. Pressure rated to 10 bar.

Blazing Self Tapping Saddles

The Blazing Saddle is the original self-tapping saddle. Designed with a fast and easy installation they save you time and money.

Its 2 part construction allows for the base of the saddle to be installed first; by simply pushing it down on the pipe. secondly the threaded outlet is installed, with the help of the installation 'T' to support the spike. This is threaded into the saddle base until it clicks. then remove the installation 'T'; this spike has pierced the pipe work creating your offtake.
