Steel tank anti-algae covers are designed for used on specific size galvanized steel tanks. They are design so the fit over the top edge of the tank and have a skirt tightly fitting around the top ring of the tank. The are secured in place with adjustable straps that attach to the supplied eyebolts.

This is and ideal solution for algae prevention and also prevents any airborne debris from entering the tank. To maximize the tank capacity the anti-algae covers are permeable to rainfall; therefore can also act as a rainwater harvesting tank.

Anti-algae kits are supplied with a centre pole, to allow for some surface run-off to keep the cover clear from debris. They also have a built in ball valve flat that can double as access for water sampling. It is recommended that larger diameter tanks have a top supporting ring to improve stability in high winds and heavy rainfall areas.
