The Toro 570SR-18 is a stationary riser, so it threads into the bottom (inlet section) of a Toro ½" spray head to give you an extra 12" of rise. They're often used along with ½" pipe fittings. They can be screwed together to be used in between a Toro spray head and a Toro nozzle to add more height to the riser.
