The Arad Gladiator positive displacement water meter is a DN15/½" meter designed specifically for residential applications. Water flowing within the meter causes the piston inside to rotate within a chamber, each of the piston revolutions is  equivalent to a known volume of water. Each piston movement is transferred via a magnetic coupling to the register which has the appropriate reduction gearing.
 
As standard the meter comes equipped with the ability to add a Pulse output.

The meter is designed to operate in a horizontal position only

The water meters are supplied complete with a set of brass union meter tails
Please note - the water meter thread size is based on the brass tail connection BSP sizing. The connection thread on the body of the meter is usually one size larger
